This quick and easy breakfast recipe allows the flavours of the bacon and mushrooms to speak for themselves, while adding a touch of garlic and lemon to make things interesting.

Simple bacon, mushroom and egg brekkie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2 people
- 2 slices bacon
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup mushrooms
- Cooking fat of your choice (duck fat, goose fat, lard, butter or coconut oil)
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- Place bacon in pre-heated pan with cooking fat of your choice and fry until cooked to your own personal preference.
- While bacon is cooking add mushrooms to a separate pan with some butter, garlic and lemon juice.
- When bacon is almost cooked add your eggs to the pan and cook them to your liking.
- Serve on a warmed plate.
